While family businesses face the same hurdles as others, they're also confronted by the minefields of shared histories, interdependent relationships, and long-standing and complex conflicts.
I offer business owners monthly retainer agreements when such an arrangement makes mutual sense. I work closely with the owner to define the scope of services and agree upon a fixed monthly retainer. The scope of services and retainer are periodically reviewed and adjusted, as necessary, to ensure fairness to all parties.
Business owners face a staggering number of complex and diverse issues. Legal, business, and personal considerations often intersect. That's why I begin by understanding my client's business and short-, medium-, and long-term goals, opportunities, challenges, and risks. This enables me to knowledgeably advise on key decisions and focus my representation on what is most important to the client.
